CELEBRATING CANADA DAY 2012

(Fairmont Le Château Frontenac - at night )

July 1- Canadians everywhere celebrate the birth of Canada as a Nation. To celebrate this day, me, hubby and friends went to Plaines d'Abraham in Quebec City. There were few activities and a free hotdogs and drinks. Most of the activities were for kids. There was a show and it was quite interesting. I just watch the show and then I went with my friends, walk around and took some pictures. After we went to Starbucks Café and my husband joined us there.

We went back home too early. I was so tired because I didn't have enough sleep the night before. After supper, we decided to go to Terrace de Levis where we can watch the fireworks from Old Quebec. They said in the news that the fireworks will start at 9:00 pm but we waited for 1 and a half hour. The wait was not really worth it. It wasn't a nice fireworks that we expected.

While waiting for the fireworks, I took a lot of pictures of the Château Frontenac and the surroundings at night. I did a lot of try because I didn't bring my tripod. Some were blurred but some were okay. The photo above is the only photo that is acceptable without tripod. For me, it isn't that bad, right?

That is how I celebrated Canada Day :-)
