DECIDED

I don't really remember the last time I blog. It's been a while that I didn't log in to my account and just a while ago, I was thinking of going back to my blogging activity. I been thinking of it for long coz I miss blogging but my time didn't allow me to do so. I been so busy for the past few months since I started my full time job and my online french course. Since blogging is not my priority, I just leave it aside and concentrate on my job and my course.

Today, December 1st, I decided to start blogging. I miss blogging so much and I will try to find time to blog.

MY TULIPS

Tulips are one of my favourite flowers. I was dreaming of having it when I was still in Philippines. Before I came here, hubby planted 500 bulbs of tulips because he knew that it’s my favourite flower. He wanted to surprise me when summer comes. I was so amazed the first time I saw them last summer of 2004, my first summer here in Canada. But the only problem was he planted it in the wrong place which I really don’t like. We replanted it many times and last fall of 2008, we found the right place for them. They bloom last year but not as nice as this year. I was so happy to see my tulips blooming.

Photos above are some of my tulips in front of the house. I still have a lot in our backyard. I will take some photo this week if I have time. We will go to Ottawa this weekend for the tulips festival. For sure I will enjoy taking pictures of them. I’m just hoping that we will have a nice weather this weekend so that I can take lots of pictures of the tulips.

DUMALUAN BEACH, PHILIPPINES

I'm proud to tell you that Philippines is one of the country that have lovely beaches. Dumaluan beach is one of them. This is one of the thing that I really miss Philippines. Photo above was taken last summer during my 50 days vacation.

STOP SIGN

Like my previous post, my entry for todays RUBY TUESDAY is one of the very common sign board "ARRÊT" which means STOP. This sign is very important to us especially the drivers. We have to respect this sign or else an accident could happen. I'm not shy to tell you that 7 years ago, I didn't respect this sign at all. But something happen that I can't forget and it's something that save my life. Since then, I stop driving and it took me 3 years before I drove back. And now, I'm proud to tell you that I'm a safe driver and I respect every rules and regulations in driving.

SIGN BOARD

It's time for Mello Yellow. My entry for today are sign boards. I'm sure everybody knows what does it mean. We been for a drive this morning and I remember the mellow yellow photo meme. I wanted to take a nicer one with a better subject but unfortunately, I didn't see one. Hubby stopped at the side of the road to picture the fence that covered with snow. While he's busy taking pictures, I ot outside the car with my camera and saw these signboards. I told myself "why not this one?" So, I hurriedly took some shots while hubby was still taking his. YELLOW SIGNBOARD is perfect for MELLOW YELLOW MONDAY.

PLAINES D'ABRAHAM

This is part of Plaines d'Abraham in Quebec City. This was during the winter festival last Feb 6, 2010. Actually, the festival was started end of January til Febuary 14 but this photo was taken feb 6 during my day off at work. The day was so nice so we took that opportunity to go there and of course we took a lot of photos.

This photo was really intended to SWF :-). Thanks to hubby for reminding me always to take picture for the SWF.

ATV BOMBARDIE J5

This ATV Bombardie J5 is own by hubby's cousin. I took this photo two year ago in their chalet. He told me that he keep this one because he really loves it and hoping that someday this will work again. A month ago, his son took this one and brought it to their garage. He work this ATV in the weekend and believe it or not, it's now working. He bought the pieces that he needs and he painted it. I guess, this is very old...1920's I guess? I'm not so sure..

I love old things especially if there's a sentimental value in it..talking about old things, you see more of them here..

HÔTEL DE GLACE 2010

Since I got my new DSLR camera this year, I asked my hubby to visit again the ice hotel here in Quebec. I been there 3 times already but I don't have a good camera on that time. So I really tried to convince hubby to go with me. He drove me there and he just waited me outside. I took a few photos because it was not yet fully done when we been there. I never had a regret of going there that soon because I got a few nice shot.

L'ASTRAL REVOLVING RESTAURANT

L'Astral Revolving Restaurant

L'Astral, the revolving restaurant in Quebec City's Loews Le Concorde Hotel serves up a feast for the eyes as well as for the taste buds. The only rooftop-revolving restaurant in Quebec City that is located on the 29th floor of Loews Le Concorde Hotel. It makes a complete rotation in an hour and a half.

Photo was taken last week during the winter festival. Too bad I was not able to take the whole building due to the heavy traffic. But this photo is perfect for my skywatch entry.

REFLECTION

Photo above is my entry for Weekend Reflection. I took this photo last falls. This is our favorite place. Hubby and I love to stay here every weekend during summer and falls. I'm not sure if we can visit here this summer because of my work. But one thing I'm sure of is we will visit here before the summer will end.

Snow geese are very popular here in our place. They usually arrive here in late summer or early falls. You see thousand of thousand of them flying by batch. Montmagny is one of the city where you will see thousand of snow geese. I took this photo last year in Montmagny. We arrived late so we were not able to see most of them.

ROAD FOR SCENIC SUNDAY 79

This is Rang de la Montagne in Saint Charles, Quebec. This road is going to Saint Henry. It's here that we use to go to take pictures during falls. The colors of the trees last falls were very fantastic.

PLAYING HORSES

It's been a while that I didn't join Camera Critters. I stop joining all the photo meme for a while because I didn't renew my other site where I use for the photo meme. I decided to make a new one and it takes me a while to finish it due to my work.

This is my first entry in Camera Critters this year and I will sure that I can join every week. Photo above was taken last Jan 6 this year. It was snowing hard and hubby and me decided to go to the country to take photo. There was no sun and we were not lucky to have a good shot. We were about to go home when I saw these horses. It was a quick shot because we were in the middle of the street. I was inside the car when I took this picture. It's not a perfect one but I guess this is acceptable :-)

RED WINE AND RED CANDLE

It's my first time to join in this photo meme Thursday Challenge. Photo above was taken last Dec 25, 2009 during our family christmas party. Red wine with red candle will fit on todays theme "red".

CHANGING

Hubby's family introduced me in drinking wine. At first, I don't like the taste of it but slowly I started to love it. I'm only taking white wine..I really love the taste but 98% of my family here take red wine. It's only me and my sis-n-law that love white wine. I asked some of my friend and majority of them loves the red. I was wondering how come most of the people loves it. So, just to go with the flow, I tried red wine and ask for it everytime we go to a party or to the restaurant. Our family doctor told me that red wine is good for the health if you're not drinking too much. The funny thing is I started to love it and bought different kind of red wine. I only have few bottles of white wine just in case we have visitors that dont drink the red and for my sis-n-law as well.

WELCOME TO MY PHOTOBLOG

It's been a while that I wanted to have a photoblog but I don't have enough time to constuct and I don't have any idea on what title I will use. Through my Lens is hubby's idea and it sound okey to me. So I started making this site two days ago and I still want to improve it. What is important is this site is already working..
